Scandinavia Residential Complex
Nordic restraint and minimalism. The construction of the stylish Skandinavia Residential Complex by Moscow's largest developer, A101 Group, has started four years ago within the borders of New Moscow. The project provides for the construction of 40 buildings of variable number of stories ranging between seven and sixteen.
This modern well-arranged complex has been being built in a pollution-free area with an ecopark featuring a creek as its focal point. The concept of the public space was developed by the Dutch bureau MLA+. The architectural philosophy of Scandinavia Residential Complex is based on the lifestyle and image of North European cities: laconic color solutions, expressive plasticity of facades, stained glass windows. The color scheme is coffee tones, contrasting with the black decorative elements on the facades of buildings, and inserts of brick-red and mint tones. The exterior is finished with tiles and clinker bricks. The interiors are filled with natural light due to panoramic windows. The well-chosen glazing ensures the optimum thermal and noise insulation. The facade company preferred STiS architectural glazing, which has proven itself in leading construction projects. Aluminum profile glass units 40 mm wide with a spacer frame of 22 mm are used in Scandinavia Residential Complex. The outer glass is 10 mm thick and the inner glass is 8 mm. Glass from the Pilkington Suncool 70/40 Pro T architectural range is installed on the outside. It is a sun screening option with maximum transparency and color neutrality. An excellent choice for residential homes, providing maximum natural light. In addition, this glass has excellent thermal insulation properties, which helps reduce air conditioning and space heating costs. On the inside, high-quality Pilkington Optifloat Clear float glass is used. This glass is tempered for increased durability. IGU formula: 10 Suncool 70/40 Pro T – 22 Al – 8 OptifloatCl Pro T
